Kim Zolciak-Biermann Downsizing Implants

When we think about celebrities and our favorite stars, we often associate them with having the “ideal” body shape. While some stars have their genes to thank, others have turned to plastic surgery to help them achieve their desired and desirable appearance. Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who was featured on Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy, hasn’t been shy about her history with cosmetic enhancements and has often thanked Dr. Hochstein for his amazing work. After having kids, the reality television star underwent breast augmentation surgery with a breast lift, as well as a tummy tuck to return to her pre-pregnancy figure. Now, years later, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is considering undergoing surgery once again, this time to reduce the size of her implants.

After delivering and breastfeeding her six children, Zolciak-Biermann, now 40, found herself in a situation that many women can relate to: breasts that were stretched out, lacking volume, and sagging. To combat these changes, Kim chose to pair a breast lift with the largest implant sizes on the market. Now, she has decided to exchange those large implants for something smaller, and even wants her fans to help her choose which implant size is best for her: a C or a DD cup size?

Why Consider Downsizing?

It’s easy to desire large implants when you first decide to undergo breast augmentation, and for a while, the larger implants are often precisely what you hoped to achieve. Unfortunately, women who have larger implants often begin to experience the same discomfort as women with naturally large breasts: poor posture, discomfort in the back and shoulders from the extra weight of the breasts, and premature aging of the breasts. These are the reasons that have led to Zolciak-Biermann’s decision, as she has stated that her heavy breasts are negatively affecting her posture. Additionally, she has expressed dissatisfaction with the difficulty of finding clothing that fits properly. This is something that many women with larger implants face, as their bodies no longer fall into clothing manufacturer’s traditional “balanced” body size. This makes clothing challenging, if not impossible, without a good tailor to alter clothing to match your unique frame and physique.

For many women, including Kim Zolciak-Biermann, downsizing their breast implants can increase body balance and comfort, while still maintaining desirable feminine curves.

If you have breast implants and are considering exchanging them for something smaller, breast reduction and implant exchange can help. Contact Dr. Leonard Hochstein today by calling (305) 931-3338.
