Breast Revision Surgery & Removing Scar Tissue

Posted April 13, 2017 in Breast Implants, Breast Revision, Capsular contracture

Just like a primary augmentation surgery, Dr. Hochstein strives to achieve beautiful results when it comes to a breast revision surgery. One of the reasons for a breast revision is a capsular contracture.  A capsular contracture occurs when scar tissue forms around the breast implants and causes the breast to harden which may cause the breast to look or feel different.

Dr. Hochstein performs a breast revision surgery weekly in his AHCA accredited North Miami surgery center. We encourage you to view the videos below, which explains how he removes the scar capsule and prepares the pocket for the new implant.
